Saxophone close up

Our 'Adopt an Instrument' program invites individuals, families, or clubs to take on funding for the repair and reconditioning of a special instrument. We receive many great donations of instruments, but some need more love and attention than others. Depending on the instrument and the shape it is in, this can require a significant degree of financial support. Repairs can vary significantly in cost, great and small. In some cases, the instrument may not be a good fit for inclusion in the MILL’s lending catalogue, but sale of the reconditioned instrument to a musician who will cherish it can assist with funding and continued support for our programs.
