Louella aspires to impart her extensive experience and training to the next generation of musicians, and as a passionate educator she has done this for more than 20 years. Equally at home teaching children, intermediate to upper level students, and adult learners, she is an Associate of the Victoria Conservatory (teacher training with Sydney Humphreys) and completed a Suzuki teacher training course at Ithaca College, NY. Additionally, she taught at the Virtuoso Suzuki Academy, a prestigious Suzuki method-based music school in New York and led multiple weekly group lessons.

After living in the Netherlands for 15 years, she has recently relocated back to Canada with her family. Since then, in the Fall and Winter semesters of 2022, she taught a chamber music class at the University of Toronto, Scarborough in the department of Music & Culture. Ms. Alatiit was the strings and instrumental adjudicator for the Stirling Festival of Sacred Praise in 2023 and the strings adjudicator for the Chinese Cultural Centre Toronto International Music Festival in 2023.

Over two decades, she has maintained her own private teaching studio of violin and viola students.
