Linda Minty is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where she studied cello and earned a bachelor of Music (Honours Music History). She is principal cellist of Quinte Symphony and was, until recently, longtime host of “Musicalle”, a programme of classical music on 91X Loyalist College Radio (91.3 fm).

Linda owns MusiQuinte Teaching Studio in Belleville where she offers private lessons in cello, violin, theory and music history.

She has orchestral experience playing with community orchestras in Brantford, Toronto, North Bay, Oshawa and Northumberland. She has played dozens of musicals in numerous community theatres. Linda directs the Praise Hymn Worship Ensemble and plays bodhran in the Quinte Irish Canadian Society Session group. Linda also plays as a cello soloist and in small chamber groups at local events and weddings.
