Gabriella is a violinist and violin teacher. She holds an M.Ed from Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, and ARCT (Violin) from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

With 40 years experience teaching violin, viola, cello and music theory to students of any age, Gabriella teaches individuals and groups in a rehearsal room at St. Andrews United Church, Marmora.

Combining traditional European discipline with Suzuki method, her field is classical, although she has dabbled in fiddle, jazz and gypsy music.

Gabriella performs frequently as a soloist and in ensembles: playing concerts, weddings, church services and special events. She played with the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra for 30 years: 10 years as principal 2nd violin, subsequently as 1st desk/1st violin. She is founder and concertmaster of the Carpe Diem Ensemble (25 years). Playing an eclectic mix of popular & classical music, the group is centred in Marmora with members also from Peterborough, Belleville and Ardoch.
