Cynthia Young has been a Registered Music Teacher for 25+ years, specializing in senior/advanced classical piano repertoire and all levels of music theory. Her professional qualifications include an MA, ARCT (teacher), ARCT (performer). Many of her students have won music scholarships (including a Royal Conservatory of Music medalist) and have been successfully prepared for entrance auditions at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Music.
A firm proponent of lifelong learning, Cynthia continues to take lessons at the Oscar Peterson School of Music, Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She also serves as a Director on the Board of the Quinte Society of Chamber Music, bringing professional classical music concerts to our rural communities. (Psst… She also has a pet donkey.)
